Most of Taipei moves fast. NOR is built for the opposite. The name says it all: when your battery is low, you do not need to be rushed — you need a quiet corner, a good cup, and permission to do less, on purpose. That is the whole idea. Cream-top signatures, honest espresso, a calm room, and a dog who has perfected the art of the nap.
A good place to slow down and work
If you are looking for a calm café near Zhongshan to read, think, or get through a few hours of focused work, NOR is made for it. The pace is slow on purpose, the room is cozy, and plant-based milk (including BONSOY soy milk) is available for most drinks. Dogs are welcome — the Low Battery Club has honorary canine members.
